Over recent months, the Trust has been buzzing with excitement as copies of The Bumblebee Book by Rachel Weston have made their way to early childhood learning centres across Aotearoa New Zealand! 🐝📚

A huge thank you to the Wright Family Foundation for their generous support in bringing this project to life and helping inspire our youngest learners to discover, appreciate and protect the wonderful world of bees.

Our Enviroschools friends in Marlborough have been busy spreading the buzz, sharing copies of the book with local early childhood centres. But what happened next? Read on to find out how a little book about bumblebees sparked curiosity, learning and a whole lot of buzz! 🌼🐝

"The Bumblebee book has been such a hit! Thank you so much.  Our Kids Edible Gardens facilitator has done a great job of utilising it within her sessions at Kindergartens. Meanwhile others have taken their own approach and spent September learning all about bees and bumblebees which has resulted in the planting of lots of different flowers."
